The regular public opinion survey conducted by Kantar TNS Index Kosova with 986 respondents in May 2017 in Kosovo, reveals that creating new government after the 11 June Elections would not be that easy, despite of the pre-election coalitions.
When questioned “if Kosovo Parliamentary elections would be held tomorrow, which party would you vote for?”, 25% declared for PDK-AAK-NISMA coalition, 17% for Vetëvendosje, 16% for LDK-AKR coalition and 1% for other parties. Almost 41% of respondents did not give a specific answer for which party they would vote: 8% declared they wouldn’t vote for any party, 15% refused to answer and 18% said they didn’t know who they would vote for.
If we take into account only respondents who declared which party they would vote for, the potential result of next elections would be the following: 43% would vote for PDK-AAK-Nisma coalition, 29% for Vetëvendosje, 27% for LDK-AKR coalition, 1% for other parties.
This survey was conducted with 986 respondents, Kosovo’s citizens (without Serbs), in May 2017. Data collecting method was face-to-face interview with tablets in-home of respondents. Sampling procedure was multi-staged random probability method, where households were selected by random route and respondents were selected through the next birthday method. Field quality control level was 17%, while statistical error was ±3.1%.
